    • Hi Paula, I've been kicking around the idea of maybe writing a novella about Alexis and Esteban. A few people have asked me about them. I've learned from other books I've written (other pen names of mine in erotica, erotic romance) that people usually hate it when something good happens to a villain, so I didn't know if there would be much interest in Alexis / Esteban.   22. OMG I just finished "Fresh Temptation" and I'm hooked. Soon as you get the others ready, I'll be reading them too! I hope Ramon and Marcy hook up too, that we get more yumminess and some weddings. Thank you so much! I found you because of Book Bub, and I'm so glad I did. I'd also like to say that I agree with Paula. Yes, I learned quickly to dislike Lexi, but that moment at the end when she thought maybe I'll stay longer than a week showed promise. I'd love to see her happy to, and to maybe build a legacy like Douglas was hoping for... yes, I'm a romantic at heart. Again, many thanks for this first book, I eagerly await more!

  31. I also really liked Fresh Temptation,and will be looking forward to the follow up books. I loved,loved,loved Safe With Me and am so excited you'll be writing a sequel to that series also. The only authors I read are Indie since I got my Nook a little over a year ago. I have read over 300 books,and Safe With Me was one of the first. I'm so glad I came across Fresh Temptation, because I remember you saying you wrote under a different pen name. I want to sign up for your newsletter, but I don't see the sign up, maybe cause I'm on my Nook. Oh well i'll just keep checking back.

    • Thank you! :) I first used the pen name Reeni Austin with this book. I have some more Shaina books to write before the end of the year. I've been shy about telling either group of readers about the other name because I know the books are so different, but I'm really glad you enjoyed both. Reeni is fun for me, but my heart lies with my Shaina characters.

  53. I loved reading Fresh Temptation. Just downloaded Armando Returns and looking forward to curling up for another good read! What is your anticipated release date for Raman and Marcy's story? Also, I would love to read a story about Alexis and Esteban. While she may have started as a villain, everyone has redemption within them. Would enjoy reading how true love redeemed her.

    • Hi Melody, As long as I stay healthy, the "expected" release date for "More Than a Maid" is the end of April. This book is my first priority and I'm not working on anything else while I write it. As far as Alexis / Esteban, I've been asked that question before and given it a lot of thought. I agree, I'd rather see a story of redemption - for sure - but I doubt I'm going to write it. After I finish Ramon's story I'm going to work on some sequels and a prequel to a book I wrote under my pen name Shaina Richmond. Those readers have been waiting (not so patiently) for months while I work on these Reeni Austin books. I may publish a couple more books as Reeni by the end of 2013, but I'm very anxious to finish the Shaina books I started.

  56. I read Fresh Temptations and I can't wait to read the next 2 novels. I have snipets of novel 2 of Armando and I can't wait to read it it completely. I think the big secret is that Armando's first love dad is the father to all the boys. I can't wait for Victor and Cara to get married. It would be very inerresting to see Esteban and Alexis get together. I think she needs a lesson on life that everything is not hande to you on a silver plate. I also hope book 3 deals with the dad getting address for all the evil that he has done.

And please don't get your hopes up about Dwayne getting "what he deserves" in book three. He may have to pay a little, but I'd much rather write a story about redemption than one about punishment. I believe in mercy and forgiveness. I agree that he needs to answer for what happened to Armando but... oh wait. If you haven't to the end of Armando's book yet, maybe your opinion will change. Hmm. :)
